I believe that children learn best in
a positive, safe, equitable environment. My goal is to create such a climate so that my students may flourish as learners
and as people.
B4: Establishing and maintaining consistent standards of classroom behavior.
The expectations for appropriate behavior in my class are clear and consistently enforced. My students are
aware of the expectations but when it is necessary, I remind them of the behavioral expectations of the classroom.

C3: Encouraging students to extend their thinking
Every once in a while, I sit back and let the students teach themselves. I allow them to take control of their
education, which forces them to think beyond just the task at hand.
