This is the Figurative Language homework I created to help students reinforce their mastery of the concept of Figurative Language. 

Identifying Figurative Language

 

Directions:  Write the word SIMILE if the sentence contains a simile.  Write the word METAPHOR if the sentence contains a metaphor.  Write the word PERSONIFICATION if the sentence contains personification.

 

 

1)  When I put my head on my pillow after a long day, it spoke to me and told me that everything would be okay.
